SAMYANG lens 14MM
When you need that wide angle blogging in a room feel, then don't hesitate to get the Samyang 14 MM lens to cover you.
This lens is perfect for the occasional immersive style images to capture when you're need it. It helps tells the story up close and personal.
I thought long and hard before the Samyang purchase. I considered a zoom lens from Tamron to help with filling out my trilogy of lens. I currently possess the Tamron 27-75MM 2.8 lens and need the other two.
But alast, I decided to hold back from the Tamron 17-27 2.8 lens and purchase the samyang instead. What tilted me in its favor was all of the favorable reviews (vinetting was one con) and it's low price. Yes! the lower price does make a difference.
Sometimes you just have to be practical and not convenient though the zoom lens do make you salivate.
This image was shot 3/21 on an overcast day where I jumped out of the car to grab a quick image vertical shot of the church.
Also the image form the Samyang has the ability to tell a story as it includes the atomosphere around the church.
The mist coming off the dewey morning lawn of its surrounding causing the whole scene to be serene in its calmness and coolness.
The lens itself lends itself to wanting to use it by its very own weight balance upon the camera body. it's perfect to whirl around as it's close to the camera body
helping the photographer to quickly taken in a wide composition and capture the moment.
